BREAKING: Buhari returns to Nigeria from London

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Nigeria from London.
Special Assitant to President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad confirmed the President’s return in a tweet on Monday.
Ahmad said, “Yes, Mr. President is back this evening.”

Buhari had left the country on Sunday, September 17 to attend the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The President departed New York for London after attending the United Nations General Assembly.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, had said the President will arrive in Nigeria on Monday.
Adesina, however, did not state the reason for Buhari’s visit to London.
Buhari has spent about 160 non-consecutive days in London for medical treatment this year.
